Oyster Catcher is a spacious holiday house, situated conveniently close to the beach, with a beautiful view in Cape St. Francis on the Eastern Cape coast, approximately 105 km west of Port Elizabeth.

This unit comprises 4 spacious bedrooms and spacious living areas with beautiful views from east-to-west of the Indian Ocean. The unit can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and the other 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds. The 4 bedrooms share 2 bathrooms, 1 fitted with a shower, basin, bathtub and a toilet and the other with a shower, basin and toilet.

There is a spacious kitchen equipped for self-catering as well as a spacious, open-plan living area with a TV and a balcony with braai facilities. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and a tumble dryer for guests’ convenience. Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises for 1 vehicle in a lock-up garage.

Guests can spy whales, dolphins and other sea creatures frolicking in the waves from the house and will be serenaded by birdsong during their stay. Ships and fishing boats can be seen sailing by the well-known Cape St. Francis lighthouse through the house’s big windows.

Cape St. Francis is a well-known tourist destination and is an excellent base from which one can explore the Eastern Cape coast and the South Coast.

The white sandy beach, breathtaking reef and the nearby Krom River are also popular attractions.

Cape St. Francis is also a world-renowned spot for surfers and boasts exceptional waves. Activities and attractions include a landing strip for aeroplanes, walking routes in and around the reserves and at the coast, the lighthouse which has been a famous landmark since 1878 and angling from the rocks and the beach. It also flaunts opportunity for guests to enjoy snorkelling, diving, spear-fishing, deep-sea fishing, kite surfing, canoeing, kayaking on the ocean, swimming, tennis on the local tennis court, sky diving and incredible sunrises and sundowners on the Krom River. Guests can visit the private game reserves in the area or take a day trip to the Addo Elephant Park and the Baviaanskloof Provincial Park.
